One term president who inherited a dumpster fire and didn’t fix in time to

get reelected. His appointing and sticking by Volcker, of course, has more to do with the expansion in the 80’s than anything Reagan did (Other than also sticking with Volcker). Bungled the Iran Hostage Crisis, for sure, but hardly ruined anything.

Dubya, Trump, and Nixon all seriously damaged the country. Ford was never even elected and the only notable thing he did was pardon Nixon.
